Network/IT Manager - School
The COMPANY
Our Northamptonshire based client is a well established Secondary School with c.1500 pupils with a great reputation and rated "outstanding" by OFSTED. They have achieved this by continually investing in infrastructure and technology within their site and, importantly, having a well-trained and motivated workforce.
The ROLE
The successful IT Manager will be responsible for the development and maintenance of their IT systems and infrastructure, responsibilities will include:
*Leadership of a small team
*Responsibility for supporting 1700 users and c.300 machines
*Strategically developing IT planning
*Manage network infrastructure, servers, cloud, workstations, etc.
*Cyber security
*IT Projects
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for IT Manager possessing the following skills and attributes.
*Network management experience
*Good all-round knowledge including Active directories, SQL, VMware/Hyper-V, etc.
*Strategic thinker who is still happy to be "hands-on"
*Experience within an educational environment would be advantageous
*Good academic qualifications
CONTRACT: Permanent
SALARY: £33-39K
