The COMPANY
Our client is a very exciting, fast growing, funded startup in the US who looking to expand their UK operation. The product fully automates the accounting and tax filing process for the freelancer and self-employed market.

The ROLE
The Go Engineer will be required to:
*Work closely with the Tech Lead, Project Manager and product team to shape new functionality and be responsible for its development.
*Explore ways to improve the performance and reliability of the systems and ways to make the underlying code better in general.
*Responsible for building out new features with little micromanaging.
*Assist the operations team in fixing bugs and responding to technical issues as they go into Beta.
*Work with a small, tight-knit team where everyone's opinions are listened to.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a strong Go Engineer candidate with the following skills and experience:
*10+ years industry experience in development / engineering.
*5+ years in Laurel development.
*The work is in an Agile / Scrum format, we use slack, Jira, AWS, GitHub, Postman, experience with these tools is preferable.
*An analytical but pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
*A positive attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work in a clear, systematic way.
