Quality Engineer

SALARY: c. £30,000 Depending on Experience+ Pension
The COMPANY
Our client is a well-established engineering sub-contract organisation who have forged a profitable niche for themselves working, predominantly, within the "Yellow Construction Industry" - diggers, FLT, dumpers, etc. They offer their clients a full engineering solution including laser cutting, press brake, tube bending, fabrication, etc.
The ROLE
You will be responsible for all aspects of the Quality Function and also assume responsibility for NPI Engineering. The role will involve;
*Responsibility for APQP & PPAP documentation
*ISO procedural management
*Engage with customers on all quality issues
*Responsibility for any returns and 8D reports
*CMM activities
*Engage with suppliers to evaluate quality standards
The CANDIDATE
