Merchandiser
INDUSTRIES: Retail
LOCATION: Near Melton
SALARY: £24000 - £26000 + Overtime
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
HOURS: 0800-1730 - 45 Hours Per week (5 days a week to include one alternate weekend day)
The COMPANY
Our client is is one of the largest independent destination garden centres in the UK and is continually growing and developing in response to customer demand and market trends. They focus on offering the finest locally sourced produce, complemented by the best from national and international producers, as well as quality Beef and Lamb supplied from our own farm in the village.
They now have a team of around 200 people in a wide range of roles across Retail, Hospitality & Catering, Operations, eCommerce, Marketing and Administration. With an exciting range of new developments coming up they we are always looking for exceptional people to join the team.
The ROLE
With a strong seasonal focus and a renowned Christmas experience, our clients retail displays are ever-changing and highly creative to attract and inspire our customers.
Due to the on-going retail expansion, they are currently looking for a full-time Visual Merchandiser, based in the gifts department, with exceptional creative talent and a keen eye for maximising every sales opportunity.
You will be responsible for creating displays which are focused on seasonality, promotional activity and commercial opportunities to ensure sales are maximised.
You will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a garden centre or department store environment. Experience of Christmas retail display would also be a distinct advantage.
Our client is looking for someone who can work well as part of a team, but also has the self-motivation to work unsupervised to deadlines. You will have a friendly personality, with an ability to engage easily and connect with our customers.
