Tills Checkout Supervisor

HOURS: 0800-1730 - 45 Hours Per week (5 days a week to include one alternate weekend day)
The COMPANY
Our client is is one of the largest independent destination garden centres in the UK and is continually growing and developing in response to customer demand and market trends. They focus on offering the finest locally sourced produce, complemented by the best from national and international producers, as well as quality Beef and Lamb supplied from our own farm in the village.
They now have a team of around 200 people in a wide range of roles across Retail, Hospitality & Catering, Operations, eCommerce, Marketing and Administration. With an exciting range of new developments coming up they we are always looking for exceptional people to join the team.
The ROLE
You will help to manage a small team of staff in the busy till area. General day to day duties to include:
*Reconciling & Balancing tills & floats
*Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases
*Upselling and cross-selling
*General housekeeping of the till area
*Stock control

*Must have experience of retail till systems
*Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
*Highly organised, accurate and reliable with excellent attention to detail
*Excellent numerical and organisational skills
*Team player, enthusiastic and energetic
*Excellent customer service skills
