Finance Administrator
Location: Wisbech
Salary: £25,000
Hours: 09:00 - 17:30 Monday - Friday.
Must Have: Experience as an administrator within in a finance department with Sage 50 experience.
The COMPANY
Our client is a well established logistics company based in East Anglia.
The ROLE
The successful Accounts Assistant will be required to do the following:
*Manage key processes in day-to-day accounting.
*Billing - Review, data and create sales invoices.
*Participate in payroll processes - review data and populate weekly payroll spreadsheets.
*Liaise with a central payroll department to ensure accuracy of data.
*Manage accounts receivable.
*Uploaded invoices to the debtor control system.
*Record payments from bank accounts and match against invoices.
*Credit control.
*Raise Purchase Orders.
*Manage customer claims for damaged goods.
*Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cashflow forecasts.
*Act as the first point of contact for all finance queries in the business.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a Finance Administrator with the following skills and experience:
*Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role.
*Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Sage50.
*Knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and confident manipulating data).
*Good attention to detail and an ability to spot problem data.
*Ability to manage your own time to concentrate on the most important or urgent.
