Senior ParaPlanner
Your primary role as Senior Paraplanner would be to provide this high end technical paraplanning training and support to the financial advisers. As well as supporting financial advisers you may be asked to provide general assistance to the Directors/Managers and Administration within the company.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
*To determine and deliver the most appropriate solutions and providers
*Collating information from existing pension/investment portfolios
*Undertake the necessary research and analysis including fund analysis, product comparison, product analysis, fund research and charges analysis to enable a sound client recommendation to be made
*Working through adviser fact finds and supporting material
*Construct Suitability Reports for advisers
*Create cash flow (retirement income) reports for advisers
*Provide all support material for client recommendation including illustrations and application documents
*Provide technical support to the adviser
*Preparation of annual client reviews
*Liaise effectively with clients, product providers, associations and other departments
*Prioritising personal workload
*All the above in a compliant manner as set down by the Company and the Regulator's procedures
*Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by management/directors
Key skills and Experience
*Retirement Planning
*Investments - ISA, General Investment Accounts etc.
*Mortgage Knowledge
*Protection - Life, CIC, Income Protection etc.
*Estate Planning - Wills, IHT etc.
*Systems
oSeletapension or O&M knowledge
oFinPlan knowledge is an advantage
oMS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
*The ability to challenge financial advisers on quality of work
*Minimum Level 4 paraplanning qualification
*Minimum of 4-5 year's experience within the financial services industry
