About the role:
We have created an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to further their career with a progressive Top 40 firm of Chartered Accountants.
We are looking to recruit a professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA) and/or experienced to be based in our Peterborough or Stevenage office but with a wider practice role.
What they are looking for:
The successful candidate will be directly supporting the Audit Partner managing their teams and on a range of interesting and growing audit clients. Experience of the supervision and training of members of staff is essential as is a hand's on approach to both client work and creating good working relationships with new and existing clients.
To be considered candidates should have the relevant Audit and Accounts technical experience (preferably at least 2 years post qualification practice experience) and competence. They should be ambitious and self motivated with the desire to develop their career and possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and be able prioritise their time and meet deadlines.
The Audit and Account Manager, should be commercially strong and able to attend Board level meetings. Corporate tax knowledge is essential and some corporate finance experience would be useful given the client base. They will also be expected to be very client facing as well as attend prospect meetings and grow the client base further.
