School Mini-bus driver
LOCATION: Northampton
SALARY: £9.20 per hour
CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary to permanent
HOURS: 7-9am and 3-5pm (38 weeks per year)
MUST HAVES: Preferably you must have MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme)16-17 training
The COMPANY
Our client is a secondary school based in Northampton.
The ROLE
The successful Minibus Driver will be required to:
*Drive the school minibuses as required.
*Check the school buses before use and report issues to the Facilities Manager
*Maintain the buses so that they are fit for purpose
*Clean the buses as required
*Take the bus(es) for repairs / servicing as required
*Drive a bus on an organised school bus route to collect and / or return pupils
*Any other duty commensurate with the grade as requested by the Facilities Manager
*This is a temporary role, with the possibility of going permanent
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong Mini-bus driver applicants with the following experience:
*MIDAS 16-17 training.
*One of the following:
oA full, clean driving licence obtained before 01/01/97
oOR a full clean drivers licence and a PCV D1 Licence, if your drivers licence is obtained after 01/01/97.
*Experience of driving a mini-bus, preferably in a school.
*Be subject to a full DBS check.
