Sales Engineer - Test Equipment
Location: South of UK - Ideal Location, Swindon, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, etc.
Alternative Titles: Technical Sales Engineer - Torque Testing, Technical Sales - Force Test & Measurement Equipment, Field Sales Engineer - Capital Equipment, Junior Sales Engineer - Torque Measurement, Trainee Technical Sales - Force Testing.
Salary: c.£26-30K Basic + £4K OTE + VW Passat Estate + Pension + Health Care
The COMPANY
For several decades our clients, a British manufacturer, have carved a global niche being acknowledged as the leading supplier of torque and force test equipment. Their wide customer base includes some of the most important names in many diverse markets - pharmaceutical, medical device/packaging, food & drink, research & development, aerospace and automotive applications, etc.
They have deservedly earned a reputation for the quality of both their products and their (most important component) staff.
The ROLE
An exciting opportunity, covering the South of England, has arisen for a dynamic and ambitious proactive Engineer possessing the desire to drive forward a career in sales. This is a consultative sale of high value capital equipment (£20K-£30K) predominantly managing the large existing account base. You will also be tasked with;
*Reigniting relationships with dormant accounts
*Following up on a large volume of leads
*Gap/cross selling to existing customers
*Use their outstanding reputation to secure new business
*Grow client base - through technical sales and strong negotiations
*Configuring/Demonstrating the equipment and training Clients staff
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an ambitious commercially minded individual with the following attributes:
*Technical/mechanical engineering background
*Knowledge of Torque/Force
*Internal and/or external sales experience
*Excellent communication skills
*Enthusiastic and dynamic character
*A genuine desire to develop a career by embracing the considerable training and support offered
