CNC Setter/CNC Miller
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: £27K + Package . Rising to £32K with experience and £36K if go onto shift.

Our client is a well established manufacturer of safety critical pressure vessels and vacuum vessels used in hazardous environments including petrochemical, medical, power generation, nuclear, water, etc. Their modern, clean and H & S conscious environment is a cutting edge facility that allows them to consistently match their Clients exacting standards. We are proud to be an integral part of their ongoing expansion, providing them with suitable local staff to complement their outstanding existing team.
The ROLE
Due to continued expansion and a bulging longterm order book an opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Setter/Operator CNC Miller and enthusiastic team player to become a key member supporting the Manufacturing Department. Duties will include setting and operating horizontal and vertical CNC machines using Fanuc controls.
The CANDIDATE
The right candidate will possess;
*Experience within a similar environment
*Skilled CNC Setter Operator
*Knowledge of machining processes, tooling and materials
*Mechanical/Engineering background
*Ability to read Manufacturing Drawings
*5S, VSM and Lean Manufacturing
*Excellent verbal & written communication skills
*The desire and ability to contribute to the team
