Sales Engineer - Industrial Control Gear
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £35K Basic, £40K OTE (commission paid on all sales Car, Pension, etc.)
The COMPANY
Our client is one of the leading suppliers of industrial control and automation products in the UK. They have a nationwide network of sales locations employing over 200 personnel in branches throughout the UK. Their electrical components are supplied into manufacturing facilities, machine builders, system integrators, panel builders, electrical/mechanical contractors an IT/Network Engineers within a variety of industry sectors including Food & Beverage, Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Water & Waste Water, Pharmaceutical and many other process related industries.
The ROLE
The successful Sales Engineer's duties will include:
*Selling industrial controls/automation products into manufacturing.
*Mixture of account management and business development.
*Activity level of around 16 appointments a week.
*Pro-active telephone canvassing for appointment generation.
*Demonstration of products.
The CANDIDATE
The successful Sales Engineer will be required to:
*Have demonstrable field sales success.
*Good electrical engineering knowledge.
*Experience of penetrating the end user/oem vertical.
*Desire & drive to succeed.
