MECHANICAL CAD DESIGNER
Location: Hitchin
Salary: £16ph.
Contract Type: Temporary - Min of 4 weeks work.

The COMPANY
Our client specialises in the design and support of communications and electronic defence related products for the UK and international customers. Particular areas of expertise include aircraft navigation aids and subsea communications.
The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Alter existing drawings to reflect changes in specification.
*Primarily involved in mechanical design to component level.
*Draught Electro / Mechanical Enclosures and Packaging for Electrical Circuits.
*To carry out Design Changes where required on existing equipments which may entail the use of conventional drawing equipment.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for applicants with at least five years of experience in drawing office work, ideally with a knowledge of MoD drawing control procedures.
*Computer Aided Design experience, using AutoCAD or Solidworks
*Strong technical background
*Electro-Mechanical knowledge
*Relate well to other members of staff with whom regular contact will need to be maintained.
*You will be security checked by our client.
