Account Manager/BDM - Construction

Our client is recognised as a Global leader in the manufacture and sale/hire of bridge, pontoon and RoRo's - solutions that are trusted by designers & contractors throughout the building/civil's industry. Their range of modular bridging solutions has a myriad of other applications including military, marine and ports. Well into a fifth decade our client has earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their product and service.
Due to continued growth, increase in demand and new innovative product ranges they now require an exceptional sales professional with an understanding of technical engineered solutions. You will be tasked with selling their market leading range of bridging solutions;
*Plastic bridges, a new concept to the UK, but over 25% of the market on the continent
*Self-assembly contractor bridges
Into a vast array of potential Clients/end users including Councils, Local Authorities, Stately Homes, Rail Network, Road Network, Industrial Estates, Water Authorities, Cycle Ways, Equine Bridges, etc. Key to success will be forging strong partnerships with contractors.
The right candidate will also take responsibility for marketing, especially the social media side including preparing case studies to take to the professional network.
The successful candidate will be a talented professional with the following skills and experience;
* Field sales experience
* Good technical appreciation
* Experience within the construction industry
* History of assuming responsibility for seeing a project through
* Understanding of technical engineered solutions giving ability to do own quotes
* Excellent team player
