Site Manager/Project Leader - Temporary Works

Salary: £35-40K Depending on Experience + Car

The COMPANY

Our client is recognised as a Global leader in the manufacture and sale/hire of bridge, pontoon and RoRo's - solutions that are trusted by designers & contractors throughout the building/civil's industry. Their range of modular bridging solutions has a myriad of other applications including military, marine and ports. Well into a fifth decade our client has earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their product and service.

The ROLE

They now require an experienced Commercial Site Manager/Project Manager to oversee a healthy ongoing orderbook as a result of being the most trusted name in the industry.
This is an exciting time to join my Client as they are on the cusp of moving their depot to a significantly larger location in the area. As a senior member of a small team this is an incredibly diverse and challenging role which has considerable strategic input in addition to the minutia of the role which includes;

*Delivering installation of c. 25 installations a year ranging from £100K to £2M
*Liaising with main contractors and site staff
*Ensuring Health & Safety (including method statements, risk assessments and crane plans) are adhered to
*Assuming responsibility for the project
*Keep relevant records updated
*Supervise the onsite installation


Basically it will be your task to bring a project in on time, safely and under budget.

The CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be a talented professional with the following skills and experience;

*Civil/Structural Engineering background
*Ability to read CAD engineering drawings
*Previous experience in a similar role
*Practical ability
*Excellent communication skills
*Project management experience
*Can do attitude
