Quality & Systems Manager - Production Environment
LOCATION: Kettering or Selby or Somerset
SALARY: £25-28,000 + 23 Days holiday
CONTRACT TYPE: Maternity cover - guaranteed a minimum of 9 months
HOURS: 8.30am. to 5.00pm. Monday to Friday
The COMPANY
Our client is the UK's leading independent manufacturer of packaging products. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facilities and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.
The ROLE
Due to Maternity Leave, a Group Quality & Systems Manager is required from April. The purpose of this role is to ensure the strategic management of quality, BRC and environmental management across five manufacturing sites employing a total of 650 employees. You will assume responsibility for dealing with external auditors ensuring that the Group adheres to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management standard), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management standard) and BRC the food packaging hygiene standard. The position can be based at Selby, Kettering or Wellington although travel to the other sites will be required.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an experienced Quality & Systems Manager who can maintain the culture of excellence within the organisation. The right candidate will possess;
*Experience of BRC, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
*Comfortable dealing with external auditors.
*Ability to analyse and develop the existing quality, BRC and environmental management systems.
*Aptitude to inspire and train colleagues.
*Fully conversant with the Microsoft office package.
*A full driving License.
