Technical Assistant / Technical Helpdesk
JOB SUMMARY: To provide technical support and advice to installation companies and householders; To ensure the efficient use of engineers.
LOCATION: Northampton
SALARY: Circa £17,000pa
MUST HAVES: Experience in Helpdesk role. Technical mindset or understanding. Ability to interpret schematics. Excellent communication skills with ability to stay calm under pressure.
The COMPANY
My client are a market leader in providing energy efficient heating and ventilation solutions.
The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Respond to telephone and email queries
*Maintain filing system and administration
*Process invoices details and instructions to Accounts Department
*Collate Engineer reports
*Take part in company projects
*Plan in service work
*Arrange spare parts for engineers
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Experienced in similar helpdesk role
*Good general knowledge of heater construction or operation
*Reasonable understanding of technical drawings or schematics
*Confident communicator
*Able to handle pressure
*Computer literate
*Willingness to learn and develop
