Technical Assistant / Technical Helpdesk
JOB SUMMARY: To provide technical support and advice to installation companies and householders. To ensure efficient use of engineers along with administration tasks.
LOCATION: Northampton
SALARY: Circa £17,000pa
MUST HAVES: Understanding of heater construction/operation; understanding of technical drawings and schematics; confident communicator.
The COMPANY
My client are a market leader in providing energy efficient heating and ventilation solutions.
The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Respond to telephone and email queries
*Maintain filing system and administration
*Process invoices details and instructions to Accounts Department
*Collate Engineer reports
*Take part in company projects
*Plan in service work
*Arrange spare parts for engineers
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Experienced in similar technical helpdesk role
*Computer literate
*Confident communicator
*Good general knowledge of heater construction/operation
*Reasonable understanding of technical drawings
*Reasonable understanding of electrical wiring schematics
