Construction Quality Manager
JOB SUMMARY: To oversee and manage the design and implementation of a robust Integrated Management System; adhering to ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001; acting as lead auditor of the company's system.
LOCATION: London/South East England
SALARY: £40,000 - £70,000pa
MUST HAVES: Minimum of five years' experience in Quality Management role in a Construction or Civils environment. Lead Auditor qualification. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
The COMPANY
My client are a large construction and civil engineering firm who specialise in a wide range of large scale projects ranging from residential and commercial builds to infrastructure, highways and rail.
The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Oversee the development and implementation of an IMS to ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards
*Develop company quality policies and procedures
*Contribute to the selection of project suppliers
*Act as the Lead Auditor and identify risk, areas of improvement and cost savings
*Lead the company Quality Team
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Minimum of five years' experience in Quality Management/Assurance/Control role in Construction or Civils environment
*Lead Auditor qualification
*Strong knowledge and working experience of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
*Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or Construction related discipline
*Hold membership of CQI
*Have experience of Lean/Six Sigma or similar Quality Tools
