Management Accountant

The ROLE

Due to continued expansion of their European Headquarters an opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Management Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities will include;

Month End:
* Produce monthly financial statements
* Conduct month end and year end processes
* Prepare schedule and process journals for monthly accruals and prepayments for material value costs
* Prepare commentary on monthly financials against budgets

Reporting:
* Reconcile Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts
* Business KPIs.
* Assist the Financial Controller in the production of annual budgets
* Labour productivity and cost absorption
* Help with annual financial audits
* Produce ad hoc reports as required to support the business

Supervise Purchase Ledger:
* Supervise the day-to-day operations of the purchase ledger team
* Review weekly supplier payments

The CANDIDATE

The successful Management Accountant (allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation) the right candidate will possess;
* Good relevant academic background
* Ideally working towards CIMA or ACCA qualification
* Experience within a similar position
* Understanding of UK & international VAT
* This role is office based so must live within a commutable distance

Salary: Depending on Experience
