Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
JOB SUMMARY: To take lead in preparation and submission of details design and co-ordination of building services solutions.
LOCATION: Manchester
SALARY: £DOE
MUST HAVES: Degree in relevant discipline and experience in similar role & consultancy environment.
The COMPANY
My client are a mechanical and electrical engineers who work in a wide range of sectors to support Architects, Designers and Construction Teams in order to bring projects to life.
The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Prepare project plans and produce scheme design
*Prepare and submit detailed plans for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, gas, utilities, compressed air and plant layouts
*Taking lead on all communications with clients
*Produce project plans
*Monitor and report progress of sub-contractors
*To mentor and manage junior staff members
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
*Minimum of seven years' experience in similar role
*Working towards chartered status
*Experience within consultancy environment
*Strong communication skills
