Project / Design Manager
The COMPANY
For over 25 years our client, a multi-disciplined Engineering practice - including Civil and Structural Engineering; Architecture; BIM Consultancy; Commercial & Risk Management; Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services Design. They have carved a strong niche for themselves, being recognised as one of the UK's preeminent consultancies for dealing with complex and sensitive projects. The ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a Project / Design Manager to manage all aspects of the design process for a wide variety of exciting highway, railway, bridge and buildings projects from planning application through to project completion
. They operate flexible/hybrid working but you are likely to live within an hour of their Peterborough or Lincoln Office.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an ambitious Project / Design Manager possessing the desire to further develop their career within a Civil/Structural Engineering practice. The right person will have the following experience:
* Proven experience in a design management role
* Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/Level 4 or higher)
* Good range of engineering understanding
* Experienced in developing project timelines, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure milestones are met.
* Budget management experience
* Understanding of health & safety and CDM regulations
* Primavera P6 & NEC Contract knowledge is desirable but not essential
SALARY: Depending om Experience, 7.5% into pension
26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Hybrid working - 2 days in Office per week
