International Business Development Manager

The COMPANY
Our engineering OEM and distribution client has been at the forefront of manufacturing niche electronic products/technology, including in the renewables sector, for several decades. They are the acknowledged market leader's in the design and manufacture of products in their specialist field, having gained an enviable reputation for both quality and after-sales service.


The ROLE
Due to continued expansion they now require an International Business Development Manager to grow their export business.
The successful candidate will be required to:

* Assume strategic direction for international sales
* Drive growth
* Recruit and manage agents & distributors in countries such as the America's Spain, Portugal, Italy and South Africa
* Use your commercial and technical acumen to develop new markets
* Sales forecasting

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:

* Commercial/Sales focussed approach
* Experience of managing & recruiting agents
* A background in engineering/electrical/renewables
* Comfortable spending considerable time abroad
* The ability to speak Spanish would be an advantage

Salary & package : Depending on Experience
