Machine Builder - Automotive
The COMPANY
Our client is a well established manufacturer of automotive test equipment. Their market leading comprehensive product range means that they have gained an enviable global reputation synonymous with excellence amongst the myriad of vehicle manufacturers who rely on their machinery. Their continued commitment to investing in R&D means that they are now the acknowledged market leaders for test equipment within EV (Electric Vehicle) manufacturers. We are proud to be an integral part of their ongoing expansion, providing them with suitable local staff to complement their outstanding existing team.
The ROLE
Due to a bulging long term order book they now require additional Machine Tool Fitter/Mechanical Fitter to assist with the building/assembly of their bespoke test machine. The minutia of the role includes;
* Building machinery from drawings
* Setting up fixtures
* Working to fine tolerances
* All round workshop skills
* Use of lifting equipment/slings

The CANDIDATE
The successful Machine Tool Fitter/Mechanical Fitter candidate will be;
* Qualified Engineer - eg. Time served apprentice
* Experience of building machinery
* Comfortable working to close tolerances
* Process driven
* General workshop skills - drilling, turning, welding, grinding, etc.
Allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation.
Salary: Depending on Experience + Excellent Package
PACKAGE includes;
37 ½ hour week, with flexible start times 7.00am to 9.30am.
Early finish on a Friday
Overtime paid at "time & a half" - or time in lieu
Pension - 6% company contribution
25 Days leave (rising to 30 with service)+ statutory holidays
Annual bonus
