PLC Software Engineer
The COMPANY
Our client is a well established manufacturer of automotive test equipment. Their market leading comprehensive product range means that they have gained an enviable global reputation synonymous with excellence amongst the myriad of vehicle manufacturers who rely on their machinery. Their continued commitment to investing in R&D means that they are now the acknowledged market leaders for test equipment within EV (Electric Vehicle) manufacturers. We are proud to be an integral part of their ongoing expansion, providing them with suitable local staff to complement their outstanding existing team.
The ROLE
Due to a bulging long term order book they now require additional PLC Software Engineer
to design, install & commission high voltage bespoke test machine mainly for the automotive industry. Working from their offices in Essex with travel to Client's sites the minutia of the role includes;
* PLC software design
* Commissioning & installation on customers sites
* Working collaboratively with other internal stakeholders
* Liaising with customers regarding software systems

The CANDIDATE
The successful PLC Software Engineer candidate will possess;
* Strong background in Electrical Engineering
* Experience in designing and commissioning software for the manufacturing industry
* Excellent PLC & HMI programming knowledge
* Happy to travel regularly to Client sites
* Excellent communication skills

Salary: Depending on Experience + Excellent Package
PACKAGE includes;
37 ½ hour week, with flexible start times 7.00am to 9.30am.
Early finish on a Friday
Overtime paid at "time & a half" - or time in lieu
Pension - 6% company contribution
25 Days leave (rising to 30 with service)+ statutory holidays
Annual bonus
