JOB TITLE: HR Manager - Shared Services

The COMPANY
Our client is a well-established not for profit trust. They are now one of the UK's largest organisations in their field employing over 4000 people. Our client is looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee a team and manage a crucial part of their business.

The ROLE
The HR Manager will be required to:

* Lead 14 staff split between a transactional team and an onboarding team.
* Lead, develop and direct the efficient and effective delivery of the Human Resources Shared Services to anticipate and ensure that transactional activities, internal processes and systems are aligned to meet the business objectives.
* Implement and analyse and provide guidance on operational improvements.
* Manage the relationship between internal and external stakeholders including operations, payroll, finance, HR, learning and development, reward and recruitment.
* Embed a culture of sharing knowledge, expertise and skills across the team.
* Coach, guide and advise direct reports, acting as an escalation point for any complex queries, taking decisions to resolve issues as appropriate.
* Four days in the office and one working from home is the preferred option.

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a strong HR Manager with the following skills and experience:

* CIPD recognised qualification - Level 7.
* If you have a thorough working knowledge of Human Resources and are able to prove competence, then qualifications are not required.
* Experience of leading recruitment processes and pre-employment checks is highly desirable.
* Previous experience of general management
* Working in an organisation/shared service centre with multi-faceted activities and cross functional requirements.
* Understanding of HR systems and processes and how they can be deployed within a business
