Financial Controller
The COMPANY
Our client is a well established Global manufacturer of power generation/combustion equipment to a variety of industries including petrochemical, power stations, oil & gas, etc. Their market leading comprehensive product range includes thermal oxidizers, burners, flare systems and pollution control equipment. Due to continual growth and a bulging orderbook they need another senior member of staff to bolster their accounting function.
The ROLE
The successful Financial Controller is responsible for the accurate production of financial statements and reports. The minutia of the Financial Controller role includes:
* Monthly consolidated financial statements for submission to head office within agreed reporting deadlines.
* Management of a small team
* Accurate reporting of branch / subsidiary accounts
* Production of annual budgets
* Managing the month end process
* Reviewing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
* Preparing commentary on actual results against budgets
* Reviewing business performance with senior management
* Annual financial audits
* Standard Operating Processes in the Finance Department
* Producing cashflow forecasts and reporting
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a strong experienced Financial Controller with a background in engineering/manufacturing. They will also have the following experience:
* Good academic background
* Excellent Excel skills
* Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
