Interim Payroll Manager

JOB TITLE: Interim Payroll Manager - contract until March 2024

The COMPANY
Our client is a well-established not for profit trust. They are now one of the UK's largest organisations in their field employing over 4000 people. Our client is looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee a team and manage a crucial part of their business.

The ROLE
The Payroll Manager will be required to:
* Manage and motivate the payroll team
* Administer and run all payrolls across the Trust in accordance with operating procedures and deadlines
* Ensure starters and leavers are processed correctly
* Process payments and statutory/voluntary deductions
* Ensure that payroll consistently reflects up to date legislation and best practice
* Maintain and improve payroll policies and processes, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
* They utilise Adaptiv's TeamTrak payroll system and Coldharbour Staff Roster
Please note this is initially a contract until March 2024.


The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a strong Payroll Manager candidate with the following skills and experience:
* Extensive Payroll experience
* Knowledge of employment law in respect of payroll processing and payroll best practice
* Working knowledge of RTI and Auto Enrolment
* Background of managing a payroll team
* Used to dealing with an outsourced payroll provider
* A Payroll Qualification (CIPP, IAB, etc.) is advantageous
* Experience of working for a multi-site organisation

SALARY: £50,000
