Quality Technician - Manufacturing
The COMPANY
Our Rutland based client are part of a Global Company who have carved a niche for themselves as the acknowledged market leaders in the supply and repair of industrial alternators and motors. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. This has been achieved this by continually investing in their manufacturing facilities, R & D and, importantly, having a well-trained and motivated workforce.
The ROLE
Due to continued expansion they now require an experienced Quality Assurance Technician/Engineer The primary role and responsibility of the Quality Technician is to ensure products and materials meet the required specifications, and to prevent quality escapes. Duties will include;
· Non-Conforming Product & Materials (NCR)
· Ensure Product & Materials are quarantined to prevent inadvertent use
· Production and Non-conforming Scrap
· Precision Measurements of component parts
· Conduct First Article Inspections on new components
· Day to Day Production Operations
· Sample Goods Inwards checks
· Provide measurements to match Shaft/Laminations
· Carry out Calibration Checks
· Quality checks on new projects
· Administration of management systems
· Inspect completed products prior to dispatch
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career. You will possess;
* Previous experience in a QHSE role
* Working knowledge of ISO9001
* Knowledge of various QA tools and techniques
* Use of precision measuring equipment
LOCATION: Oakham
SALARY: Depending on Experience
