Structural Engineer - Team Manager

The ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer - Team Manager to build your career within our team based in the Peterborough Office for this well established consultancy, The successful Structural Engineer Candidate will be required to manage a small team of structural engineers and technicians to deliver an eclectic mix of projects (including commercial, education and housing developments) within agreed budget and timescale to a high quality. This includes liaising with the client and other colleagues to ensure the brief is adhered to in the delivery of the projects whilst maintaining a positive client relationship. An important aspect of this role is to act as mentor to junior members, providing advice and guidance utilising previous project knowledge.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an ambitious candidate possessing the desire to further develop their career within a Civil/Structural Engineering practice. The right person will have the following experience:
* Good academic background in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Considerable Structural Engineering experience
* Competent in steelwork, concrete, masonry and timber design.
* Skilled in foundation design
* CAD design packages such as Tekla Structural Designer, Revit and other relevant 3D software.
* Sound detailing knowledge.
SALARY: Depending om Experience, 7.5% into pension
26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Hybrid working - 2 days in Office per week
