Commercial Steam Boiler Engineer

The ROLE
Due to a bulging order book they now require an additional Steam Boiler Engineer to join their successful team. Primarily tasked with service and planned maintenance of commercial steam powered plant and heating machinery. The minutia of the job will include;
* Promote a professional image internally and externally.
* Installation and repair of industrial steam, electric & hot water boilers and systems.
* Attending ad-hoc breakdowns providing quick and accurate diagnosis and solutions.
* Carry out planned annual boiler inspections & services on boilers and burners.
* To be on the "on-call" service Rota.
* If not on-site you will be building systems in the factory at head office.
* This is a UK wide role, therefore regular night away from home required.




The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a Commercial Steam Boiler Engineer who is a team player with the desire to learn and forge a career, experience within a successful organisation is essential. The right candidate will possess the following background and skills set;
* Experience of industrial steam boilers and ancillary plant
* Excellent diagnostic skills and dedication to achieving maximum performance and efficiency.
* Ability to work effectively on their own initiative whilst providing a positive contribution to the Steam / Boiler Division
* Current driving license valid in the UK.
* Qualified commercial gas engineer. Minimum Gas Qualification - COCN1. With PG / GAS BOOSTERS / TCP1 / TCP1A being desirable but not essential.
* An electrical qualification would be advantageous.
PACKAGE:
Salary £35-40K depending on experience
Overtime
Fully expensed vehicle, tools, & Uniform
