General Manager - Waste
The COMPANY
Our client is an innovative and successful plastic recycling company with a history of success throughout Europe. We are proud to be helping them with their ongoing expansion within the UK.
The ROLE
They now require a commercially minded General Manager to take P+L responsibility and assume full control of a plastic recycling plant. The successful candidate will be required to:
* Assume strategic direction
* Drive material growth in the fast-developing plastic recycling market
* Manage Key Account relationships
* Lead and develop the team
* Use your commercial and technical acumen to develop new clients
* Regular reporting to Group Board
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
* Commercial/Sales focused approach
* Strong leadership/managerial skills
* Good appreciation of financials and how to act on them
* Demonstrate experience in manufacturing or site leadership
* Track record of scaling a business via new client acquisition
* Experience in commodity products/materials
