Project Manager - Modular Bridges
The COMPANY
Our client is recognised as a Global leader in the manufacture and sale/hire of mainly steel bridge, pontoon and RoRo's - solutions that are trusted by designers & contractors throughout the building/civil's industry. Their range of modular bridging solutions has a myriad of other applications including military, marine and ports. Well into a fifth decade our client has earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their product and service.
The ROLE
They now require a talented and experienced Project Manager to oversee a healthy ongoing orderbook as a result of being the most trusted name in the industry.
As a senior member of a small team, working from the Office 2 or 3 days a week, this is an incredibly diverse and challenging role basically managing the project from sale to delivery. The minutia of the role includes;
* Planning project/installations
* Liaising with Client's/visiting customers
* Writing RAMS
* Liaising with main contractors and site staff
* Keep relevant records updated
* Manage onsite installation
Basically it will be your responsibility to manage a project on time, safely and under budget.
The CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be a talented Project Manager with the following skills and experience;
* Experience working with Tier 1 construction clients
* Ability to read CAD engineering drawings
* Site experience
* Practical ability
* Excellent communication skills
* Good academic background
* A knowledge of steel & cranes would be advantageous
* Civil/Structural Engineering background
* Can do attitude
* Project Management experience
It is essential that you have the desire to assume responsibility and help a well-established organisation grow.
Salary: £45-55K Depending on Experience + Car
