The COMPANY
Our client is a renowned IT services provider. They have been established for over 25 years and have a user base of over 3000. They offer managed services packages to fulfil a wide range of service level requirements.
The ROLE
The successful IT 2nd Line Support candidate will be required to do the following:
* The role is a 50/50 hybrid (work from home) position.
* To provide a high level of service to clients in a deadline driven environment and work to an agreed service level.
* Maintain relationships with fellow IT staff and the business.
* Ensuring excellent and professional communication.
* Ability to keep up on new and existing technologies
* A team player is punctual, positive, organised and self-motivated.
* Takes a calm, focused, considered and analytical approach to problem escalation situations
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong 2nd Line support candidates with the following experience:
* Experience in a 1st line and 2nd line role providing support via remote control applications.
* Technical background of Windows 7/8/10/11 and Mac-based OS, Microsoft Office and 365.
* Trouble shooting skills
* Experience of network & local printers.
* Good experience of internet browser software and configuration.
* Understanding of the basic concepts of networking in a structured cable environment.
* Experience / good understanding of desktop technologies
* Server AD administration skills
* The candidate will need a full, clean, UK driver's license for occasional visits.
