HSE Contractor - 2 days a week
LOCATION: Grangemouth
The COMPANY
Our client is a well-established Global manufacturer of combustion equipment to the petrochemical industry selling products, systems and site services worldwide. Their market leading comprehensive product range includes thermal oxidizers, burners, flare systems and pollution control equipment.
The ROLE
Qualified HSE advisor with experience of the large scale construction projects involving multi-discipline activities (civils, mechanical, electrical) to represent contractor on a medium sized CDM project.
Reporting to the site manager tasks will include : Review and approval of mechanical sub-contractor RAMS and work packs, ensuring mechanical sub-contractors adhere to RAMS, permit co-ordination activities with Principal contractor, carrying out on-site HSE surveillances, hazard identifications, advising personnel of HSE best practice, carrying out TBT, incident investigations, report writing, training, ensuring implementation of 'zero-harm' philosophy, life-saving rules and HSE regulations applicable to the works.
Initially for 2 days per week with an on-site project duration of 12 weeks with possible extension.
Qualifications - NEBOSH general certificate (or higher)
5 year's experience in similar roles.
SALARY: £350-£400 Day rate - depending on experience
