Manager - Wiring Harnesses Projects
Hours - Monday through Thursday, 07:20 to 15:50 and Friday 07:20 to 12:20
Our client is a well respected global leader in the manufacture of Wiring Harnesses.
In Derby they specialise in the manufacturing of electrical wiring harnesses, sub-assemblies and systems for the rail rolling stock industry.
Due to an internal promotion our Client now require an experienced Service Team Manager to take responsibility for managing Service Team Project Managers, Senior Supervisors, etc.
In this strategic role develop existing and service workstreams for the business from proposal to delivery of service projects on rolling stock (multi cable wiring looms, terminal rails, multi pin connectors, etc.)
You will be required to;
*Manage the Service Team
*Develop an accurate resource plan
*Develop and maintain KPI's to measure Service Team performance, identify areas of concern, and implement effective corrective actions where needed.
*Ensure that accurate and accessible work records are maintained and available for MSSL/Customer consultation as required.
*Identify training requirements for team
*Liaise regularly with customer's
Our client is looking for an exceptional Service Team Manager who possess the following skills;
*Skilled manager of engineering teams
*Excellent interpersonal skills - lots of client interaction
*Electrical or mech elec background
*Project Management experience
*Knowledge of rail industry would be advantageous but not essential

SALARY: Depending on Experience
