JOB TITLE: Quality Manager
LOCATION: Peterborough
SALARY: £18,000 - £25,000pa
CONTRACT TYPE: Temp to Perm (T2P)
MUST HAVES: Quality Management, ISO9001 experience, internal and external audit, quality control, health and safety knowledge, 6 Sigma, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.

The COMPANY
An established and growing bespoke manufacturer who has recently a wide range of high profile clients is looking for a Quality Manager.

The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Manage all aspects of the Quality System including:
oConducting internal ISO 9001 audits
oGenerating reports and paperwork for external ISO 9001 audits
oProcessing returns paperwork via our internal procedures
oResponsible for ISO 9001 document management and administration, including drawing control
oKeep up-to date all ISO and quality related documentation
*Continually improve Quality Control (QC) Inspections and process control, which includes inspection, file maintenance and process control.
*Manage the validation process, working with responsible functional areas to develop protocols, conduct validations, and release processes to production.
*Manage Supplier/Customer audits and represent QA as an active member on new product teams
*To ensure compliance with Health and Safety initiatives/directives
*Generate, monitor, expedite and process purchase requisitions and request for quotes.

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
*Knowledge of HSE Risk Assessment processes is advantageous
*6 Sigma or PPAP experience is advantageous
*Experience with part measuring and inspection is ideal but not essential
*Proactive approach to implementing change within the quality department
*Be of robust enough character to enforce quality standards
