The COMPANY
Our client is a well established Global manufacturer of Adhesives. In addition to their strength in the traditional industrial market they have carved a strong niche for themselves in more commercial products, utilising their technical expertise and flexibility to innovate they are for example Europe's leading supplier of cosmetic nail glue. Due to their "can do attitude" they have gained a deserved reputation for the quality of both their service and, their most important component, the staff.
The ROLE
Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for a talented European Business Development Manager to work alongside the Sales Director. Based from their Northamptonshire Offices you will be responsible for;
*Sales within Western Europe & Turkey
*Client visits, approx. 25% of your time will be spent travelling abroad
*Building on existing customer relations
*Supporting the distribution network
*Develop new trade & retail channels
*Assume responsibility for marketing, including packaging
The CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be;
*A strong business development background
*Experience of setting up & managing a distribution network
*Language skills are essential. Must be able to speak at least one of French, German or Italian
*Knowledge of adhesives or an associated product
*Process driven approach to keeping CRM up dated
Allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation.
