Controls Engineer - Instrumentation
We are proud to be an integral part of our client's growth plans over the coming years. Our client is already a well established Global manufacturer of combustion equipment to the petrochemical industry selling products, systems and site services worldwide. Their market leading comprehensive product range includes thermal oxidizers, burners, flare systems and pollution control equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Controls/Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join a successful & expanding organisation. Due to continued planned growth they now require an additional controls engineer. The scope of this role will include;
*Review project file and confirm Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls scope
*Development of the P&ID's
*Preparation of Instrument Data, Electrical drives (VSD) and MCC data sheets
*Review of the vendor quote
*Production of wiring schematics and connection diagrams
*Preparation of BOMs
*Prepare the PLC /DCS I/O lists
The right candidate will be an intelligent and dynamic individual who wants to develop their career further within this progressive organisation;
*Well educated in a relevant discipline (Instrumentation /Electrical/ Electronic Engineering)
* Experienced in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering
*Competent in LV electrical circuit design and panel design
*Conversant with P&IDs.
*Power generation, combustion, petrochem and/or oil & gas experience would be advantageous
Salary: Depending on Experience, 12% Pension, Private Health Care etc.
