Group Chief Finance Manager
Location: East Midlands
Salary: c.£60-£70K Depending On Experience

The Group
Our Client are a fast growing Group of renewable energy equipment engineering OEM, design/install/maintain and factoring/distribution companies who have been at the forefront of the renewables sector for several decades. They are the UK acknowledged market leaders in the design/install, distribution and manufacture of products in their specialist fields, having gained an enviable reputation for both quality and after-sales service. The group also has significant international sales which will develop further.


The ROLE
Due to continued expansion the group now requires a dynamic Head of Finance/Accounting with the drive and strategic vision to help the Group in its growth, both organically and by acquisition.
The successful candidate will sit in the Senior Management team and be required to take responsibility for all areas you would expect of a CFO in a successful Group, including:
*Accounting - Monthly management reports, statutory accounts, etc.
*Managing a small transactional accounting team currently based in a variety of locations
*Cash Flow/Treasury for the Group
*Tax planning for both individual companies and the Group as a whole
*VAT, including import/export implications
*Take responsibility for integrating Management Information and Accounting systems across the Group
*Senior role in strategic planning, including future growth/acquisitions

*Qualified Accountant (FCA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
*Strong leadership/managerial skills
*Experience working within industry/manufacturing/distribution/building projects
*Good appreciation of financials and how to act on them in driving business forward
*Strong interpersonal skills and the gravitas to work with MDs
*Strategic thinker capable of growing with the organisation
