Quality Manager - Manufacturing
Senior Quality Manager, Quality Executive, Quality Engineer, Site Quality Manager
£28K - £35K + Package
Our client is the UK's premier manufacturer of ceramic cores which are utilised in a variety of industries including aerospace and power generation. They have carved themselves a niche where they are now enjoy a global for the quality of both their product and, their most important component, the staff.
Due to continued growth an opportunity has arisen for a talented Quality Manager to join their successful team. Assuming responsibility for all aspects of quality within their Corby manufacturing facility you will be tasked with working with the internal production team and approved external suppliers to ensure quality is continuously monitored and improved.
*Assume responsibility for overall quality
*Implement the Group Quality Management System in accordance with AS 9100
*Develop, implement and maintain a programme of continuous improvement
*Support Project Managers as required
*Take corrective measures to ensure product matches customer requirements
*Work with cross-functional team in development of new product
*Produce documentation required for design, pre-production, production approval, and production
*Ensure all production processes, procedures, documents and records conform to ISO
*Carry out internal audits
In short you will be responsible for keeping quality at the forefront of all the Client's activities.
Our client is looking for someone with:
*Experience of quality control in engineering/manufacturing is essential
*Knowledge of quality control methods
*Experienced Internal Auditor
*Must be flexible in approach and responsive to changing demands and situations
*Must have an analytical approach to problem resolution
