Technical Customer Service - Electrical/Solar
Salary: £25-27K & Quarterly Bonus which in 2014 was approx. £4K

Our engineering client has been at the forefront of renewable energy technology for nearly forty years, they are a market leader in the design and manufacture of wind and solar systems. They have gained an enviable reputation for both quality and after-sales service.
Due to their continued success even in this difficult market they now require an additional Technical Support person to work on the solar side. This role is mainly dealing with contractor and end user queries regarding an innovative retrofit product they have designed to utilise surplus solar PV energy generated to heat hot water in a household water tank therefore securing considerable cost savings. The successful candidate will be required to:
*Assume responsibility for first line technical support
*Assist end users with fault finding queries
*Liaise closely with wholesalers
*Advise contractors on fitting techniques
*Provide excellent customer service
*Process returns paperwork
*Generate technically and commercially correct quotations
*Assess customer requirements
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Excellent communication skills
*Electrical knowledge/ PV industry experience is essential
*Experience in a similar Client facing role
*Able to work effectively without close supervision
*Possess good organisational & IT skills
