Production/SMT Engineer - Fuji
Location: Northampton
Salary: c. £28000 - £35000 dependent on experience.

The COMPANY
Our client is a high performance Contract Electronic Manufacturing services provider, producing both prototypes and production runs for many items including Surface Mounted and Through-hole circuit boards/PCB's. They have a cutting edge production floor with an X-ray machine for checking Ball Grid Arrays and machines that can place over 100,000 components per hour handling component sizes from 0201 metric up to 72mm².
The ROLE
Our client is looking for an experienced Engineer within the Electronics sector to take responsibility for their SMT Pick & Place machines. The successful candidate will be required to:
*Work within an environment of Surface Mount and Printed Circuit Board technologies.
*Write programs utilising their offline stations.
*Cost up and quote jobs.
*AOI Test and inspect equipment.
*Develop processes and troubleshoot.
*Perform effective repair & maintenance on the Fuji machines.
*Suggest improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Engineering within the electronics assembly sector.
*A fundamental understanding of SMT assembly lines including balance of a line in a manufacturing environment.
*Knowledge within Surface Mount and Printed Circuit Board assembly process.
*Ability to write SMT programs, XY data to pick up different parts.
* Fuji experience would be advantageous
