Engineer - Solar PV
SALARY: £25,000 - £29,000 (based on experience)
CONTRACT TYPE: Self-employed preferably
MUST HAVES: CSCS Card and experience of installing solar PV systems
Our client is help homeowners and businesses discover and adapt renewable energy solutions to reduce energy costs. This is achieved via the installation of Solar PV, Solar Panels, Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Storage Batteries.
NOTE - We are looking for experienced Self-Employed Solar PV Installers to sign a contract initially for One year with a potential to turn into a permanent role based on performance.
The successful Solar Engineer will be required to:
*Install domestic and commercial solar PV systems on various types of buildings and roof types.
*Install mounting brackets, rails, and panels on pitched & flat roofs & Ground-mounted systems.
*Running cables, trunking, conduit, and cable trays
*Assisting electricians running cables and connecting isolators
*Installing Tesla Powerwall batteries
Our client is looking for strong Solar PV Engineers with the following experience:
*Previous experience installing solar PV systems.
*You must have a CSCS card.
*You must have your own tools.
*Able to communicate well both verbally and on the phone
*Good practical skills in use of hand and power tools
*H&S aware, must be able to work at height
*Self-starter, motivated and able to work with little supervision
*Able to communicate well with customers
