Logistics Coordinator
Location: South Lincolnshire, Rutland, North Cambridgeshire
Salary: Depending on Experience + Excellent Package

The COMPANY

Our client is a well established Global manufacturer of power generation/combustion equipment to a variety of industries including petrochemical, power stations, oil & gas, etc. throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. Their market leading comprehensive product range includes thermal oxidizers, burners, flare systems and pollution control equipment.

The ROLE

Due to continued growth of their EMEA business an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Logistics Coordinator to match internal and external customer requirements for Logistics/Shipping. This varied role will include responsibility to;

*Source cost effective freight solutions.
*Liaise and negotiate with 3rd party logistics.
*Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and Customs compliant.
*Liaise with local Chamber of Commerce to apply for shipping certs.
*Communicate with internal stake holders to understand transport issues/logistic requirements.

The CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be a talented professional with experience preferably within a similar environment allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. You will require;

*Logistics/Shipping experience.
*Knowledge of National and International Transportation.
*Strong Excel skills.
*Excellent communication skills - both with internal stakeholders and logistics/freight partners.
*Good attention to detail, the accuracy of documentation is important.
*Ambitious.
