The COMPANY
Our client is one of the UK's leading independent specialist beverage manufacturers. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.
The ROLE
They now require an experienced Maintenance Engineering Manager to lead their team. Managing an Engineering Team working of three shift system working Monday - Friday, your team will be a mixture of Mechanical Fitters and Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineers. You team will be responsible for fault finding and repair a range of manufacturing equipment - including maintenance and fitting of steam boilers/steam lines and installations, their duties include;
Fault find and repair a range of manufacturing equipment
Read circuit/ladder diagrams
Complete the installation of new plant and machinery
Ensure planned maintenance is completed in timely fashion
Work with and install single phase/3 phase electrical circuits
Complete electrical work on pneumatics and hydraulics
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career, experience within a similar environment is essential. The right candidate will possess the following background and skills set;
* Management Experience
* Maintenance background in a manufacturing industry
* Good electrical understanding
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Pneumatics & Hydraulics knowledge
* Experience with packaging machines would be advantageous
* Pc literate
