Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

SALARY: £32-35K Depending on Experience + Overtime + Package.
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
HOURS: Monday - Friday 38 ½ hours - "Double Days" so one week 6:00 - 14:00 Mon-Thur 6:00 - 12:00 Friday, then following week 14:00 - 22:00 Mon-Thur 12:00 - 18:00 Fri - then back to week one
Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturer of packaging products. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.
Due to retirement they now an additional Multiskilled Factory Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical skills - to join their team. Working as a part of a team you will be responsible for fault finding and repair a range of manufacturing equipment - including maintenance and fitting of steam boilers/steam lines and installations. Although overtime is not guaranteed there has been considerable available over the last few years with Engineers who volunteer for overtime earning in excess of £50Kpa.
Our client is looking for strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career, experience within a similar environment is essential. The right candidate will possess the following background and skills set;
* Maintenance background in a manufacturing industry
* Good electrical understanding
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Pneumatics & Hydraulics knowledge
* Pc literate
