Factory Maintenance Electrician
LOCATION: Selby
SALARY: £34-40,000 Depending on experience + Overtime
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
HOURS: 38.5 Hour Revolving Shifts (early 6.00am - 2.00pm Mon - Thur 6.00am - 12.00Noon Friday. Late 2.00pm - 10.00pm Mon - Thur, 2.00Noon - 6.00pm Fri Night10.00pm - 06.00am Mon to Thursday and 18.00 - 24.00 Friday)
The COMPANY
Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturer of packaging products. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.
The ROLE
Due to continued expansion they now an additional Maintenance Engineers to join their team. Working as a part of a team you will be responsible for fault finding and repair a range of manufacturing equipment - including maintenance and fitting of steam boilers/steam lines and installations.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong team player with the desire to learn and forge a career, experience within a similar environment is essential. The right candidate will possess the following background and skills set;
* Maintenance background in a manufacturing industry
* Good engineering understanding
* Electrical experience an advantage
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Skilled in the basic operating of machine tools - lathe, milling machine, band saw, grinders, press tools, welding
* Pneumatics & Hydraulics knowledge
* Pc literate
