JOB TITLE: Continuous Improvement Manager
LOCATION: Kettering/Corby/Market Harborough
SALARY: Depending on Experience & Package

The COMPANY
Our Northamptonshire based client is the UK's leading independent manufacturer of packaging products with an annual turnover approaching £100M. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of both their products and service. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their production facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.

The ROLE
Due to an internal promotion they now require a Continuous Improvement Manager. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the production, warehouse and engineering departments in the development and introduction of improved manufacturing and operational techniques. Duties include;

*Establish a local culture of continuous improvement and root cause elimination through Lean, Kaizen and Standard Work
*Identify and share best practices
*Train and support line managers embedding continuous improvement in their jobs
*Manage a small team of two people
*Analyse current process performance with senior management
*Implementation of a Lean Manufacturing culture

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong candidate possessing the following attributes;

*Experience in a similar position
*Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
*Demonstrable history of success implementing a Lean Manufacturing culture
*Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
*Good prioritisation skills
*Excellent communicator
*Good with your hands/manual dexterity
*Take pride in your work
