JOB TITLE: Deputy Manager - Retail

LOCATION: Peterborough
SALARY: £22,000 - £23,000 + (depending on experience), plus BONUS, Pension, 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) plus up to 5 extra days to recognise loyal service
MUST HAVES: Previous Store Management experience and a keen interest in cycling or outdoor activities.

The ROLE
The successful Deputy Manager will be required to:
*Effectively manage and maintain a profitable and sales driven store to a high standard
*Schedule, train and assign team members to achieve store targets
*Coaching, counselling, and motivating the team
*Operate at a managerial level
*Implementing security systems to protect stock
*Comply with legal requirements.
*Maintain professional and technical knowledge
*Understanding all aspects of the store and driving sales on the sales floor
*Coaching, counselling, and motivating the team

The CANDIDATE
*Previous experience of managing in a retail store.
*OR you are working in retail and would like the next step up.
*An excellent customer service focus
*Desire to achieve individual and the Company's goals
*Excellent interpersonal skills
*Strong market knowledge in the cycle industry
*Keen interest in cycling or outdoor activities
